Introducing: Jane McGee

We are pleased to introduce the newest member of The Lindner Group -

 Jane McGee!

Jane 2

Jane has been a resident of DuPage County for almost twenty years and has over five years of experience in the real estate industry.  Beth is excited for Jane’s contribution to The Lindner Group because she is an extremely energetic go-getter; she negotiates hard for her clients’ best interests; and she has far exceeded our expectations in successfully negotiating contracts for three buyers in her first month and has sold six homes during her short tenure with our team.

Jane is an expert at listening to client needs.  Jane believes this comes from her many years of experience making custom bridal gowns.  That work taught her how to listen to what a client wants, visualize what they are describing and translate that into the ideal home.  She says her greatest reward comes from seeing the expression on her clients’ faces when they walk into the house and realize “this is it.”  It truly meets their needs.  Jane finds ultimate fulfillment in matching a house to what really works for her clients.  She has fun while searching for the perfect home with her clients because, she loves the “thrill of the hunt.”

Jane believes that studying the market is also fun and a necessary trait of  a great real estate agent is to know the market inside and out, so when someone asks a question it can be answered intelligently.  She counts it a privilege to work with her clients  as they let her in on this very important life event.  She genuinely cares about each client.

Jane also loves working with her best friend, Beth Lindner, stating that she is truly a great mentor and that she has “the utmost respect and admiration for her.”  Welcome to the team, Jane, we can not wait to see what the future holds as we work together!

Spring is Here!

Spring Is Coming!

There is finally evidence of spring arriving in the Chicago area!  Did you know there is an expected high of 70 degrees on Sunday!?  This makes us think it is time to get outside and get planting.  Members of The Lindner Group have become interested in growing plants and herbs in the last few years.  Meg Cockle, Broker and Officer Manager for the team, and her husband have had great harvests in the last two years in the backyard of their Wheaton home.

Herbs

They have had a bounty of herbs, tomatoes, and other vegetables.

Their greatest success was when they added a beautiful trellis to their yard and grew baking pumpkins and butternut squash.

What a beautiful result!

Pergula

Beth’s husband, Pete Lindner, has also been an avid gardener for many years. He says that in the past few years he has planted various perennials including, pink balcony begonia, aloha eucomis, and gingerland caladium, in either planters or directly in the ground.  Annual begonias also did well through last summer’s drought.

Check out this great step by step tutorial on how to build your own pergola! Or maybe a trellis is more your style.

What are you growing this spring?
